Visiting Hours Information
Generally, visiting hours are from 11 am - 8 pm. Different services may have slightly different hours; a complete listing is available on line at or can be obtained at our reception desk in the main hospital. Visitor Guidelines are available in english and spanish. |
Special Programs
The Center For Complementary Therapies The Center For Complementary Therapies addresses the needs of persons throughout the life span--from birth to death. The Center provides an energetic approach to healing in mind, body and spirit through individual treatments and group programs. All treatments and programs are supportive of the Mission of St. Mary's Hospital "To Care Compassionately for those we serve with dedication to excellence and Christian ideals." Healing Touch, a complementary approach to healing, is administered with the intention for the person's highest good in mind, body, and spirit. The Healing Touch Program, developed by Janet Mentgen, RN, BSN, is endorsed by the American Holsitic Nurses Association. Schedule an appointment with a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner by Calling (518) 841-7146. Workshops are offered throughout the year at St. Mary's Hospital, and at other locations upon request. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system to help the person self-heal. Healing Touch affects the person physically, emotionally, and spiritually. |

Community Outreach & Activites
Full time staff coordinate dozens of community outreach programs each year based on the needs of the community and collaborative efforts with other healthcare providers and local organizations. Healthy Kid's Day Brain Injury Support Group Healing Touch Buddies Program for Women with Breast Cancer Lupus Support Group A full time staff member is available to assist community members with enrollment in state sponsored insurance programs; community education staff coordinate a minimum of 4 free screening events and 4 free educational supper seminars each year. |
