Took my son to the ER for a possibly broken foot. They misdiagnosed him with a sprained ankle when in actuality he had a fracture on his GROWTH PLATE. Thank God I took him to an orthopedic doctor for a second opinion. CRMC advised he stay off his foot for 2 days then resume normal activity. The orthopedist said 6 WEEKS MINIMUM to avoid permanent damage. Can you say BIG OOPS???? 3 months ago my youngest son went in for a similar foot injury. They sent him home and said nothing was wrong. The next day the radiologist called and told us that there was clearly a piece of metal in his foot between his big toe and first toe. One mistake ok, but TWO???? And BIG ONES???? DO NOT USE THIS ER!!!!!!!!! |
