Visiting Hours Information
Family and friends of patients are warmly welcomed at Piedmont Hospital. Visiting hours are arranged to give visitors and patients as much time together as possible without interfering with patient care or delaying recovery. Spouses and clergy may visit any time, observing appropriate restrictions. Other visitors should note the following visiting hours:Inpatient Rehab Unit:Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8:30 p.m. Please note that a patient's doctor may restrict visiting hours, depending on the patient's condition. Also, there may be exceptions to established visiting hours on the morning of surgery or in the case of serious illness. |

Special Programs
Mercer University—through a partnership with Piedmont Healthcare and Mercer University, the Center for Health and Learning offers several joint initiatives, including nursing, pharmacy, research and other medical and allied health education programs. Each year, more than 600 students do healthcare-affiliated clinical rotations at Piedmont Hospital. |
On Site Guest Services
Located on the fourth floor of the 1984 Building, our Guest Center provides a limited number of private, hotel-style overnight accommodations for patients and visitors for $64.80 (this fee includes tax) per night. Maximum stay is seven nights, based on availability. Your stay must be connected with a hospital visit, and reservations must be made in advance. For reservations and check-in information, call 404-605-3800or inquire at the main information desk. |

Parking
Self-parking is available at several locations on campus at a maximum daily charge of $5 or in-and-out daily passes for $6. Valet also is available for $7. Seven-day prepaid parking is available for $30. Parking validation is available once a patient has been hospitalized for 14 days. |

Community Outreach & Activites
Physicians and hospital staff work with various organizations to provide health education, screenings and support activities for people struggling with chronic or serious health conditions. Piedmont offers classes and programs on such topics as maternity and childbirth education, CPR, arthritis exercise, diabetes and heart health. Piedmont offers early detection and disease-prevention screenings each year at no or low cost to the community. Some screenings are coordinated with other health-related organizations such as the Atlanta Regional Commission. Other community screenings target blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, prostate cancer and risks for falls. Piedmont Hospital provides support groups for individuals and families facing chronic or life-threatening health problems.
