Today, The Toledo Hospital is the largest acute-care facility in the region. Serving a 27-county area in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, the 774-bed hospital is staffed by more than 4,000 professional health care employees. Patients at The Toledo Hospital have access to the area's largest board-certified medical staff, comprised of over 1,100 primary care and specialty physicians.

Rest is an important part of care and recovery. We understand, however, that a limited number of visitors helps make a hospital stay a more pleasant experience. Unless the physician does not recommend visitors or the patient prefers not to have visitors, The Toledo Hospital has a flexible visiting hour policy. Please check unit postings, ask a nurse or visit the information desk for unit visiting hours.

Visitors may enter the hospital by using North Cove Boulevard at the front (main entrance) of the hospital. Parking in the garage is free. Valet parking is available for a small fee.

Interpreter services are available for patients who do not speak English well enough to communicate with our staff.

From U.S. Route 23: Go north to U.S. 20. Take U.S. 20 West to I-75. Take I-75 North to I-475 West, Exit 204 (U.S. 23). Exit at Jackman Road (Exit 19). Turn right onto Jackman. Turn right onto Central Avenue. Turn left onto Oatis Avenue and cross Monroe Street. Follow signs to the appropriate parking lot.
