The hospitalist assigned to my former husband was awful and did, would not come to his room and examine him even when requested by nurse. They even discharged him, papers signed, and he went down when trying to get him ready to leave; had chest pains and did not leave the hospital. His sepsis was not caught in time. Two days later he was put on the ventilator; his lungs blew out and he passed away.The nursing staff however was fantastic and did all they could for him....
