| Tue 4/2017 I had taken my husband into E.R. he was having SEVERE pain in his chest. A lump had formed overnight on the right of the sternum. They had taken us back promptly, doing routine test to rule out heart issues...minutes after the chest x-ray was taken, Dr. Nieto came into the room, asked some questions, said it was a classic case of costochondritis...he said he has a 34 yo in the next room with same thing....he missed the fact that, my hubby is a 52 yo male that has stage 4 metastatic cancer...the two have no comparison...this is usually caused from blunt force or over use, strain,,,,my hubby goes from the bed to a reclining chair most days....how could this be possible , not to mention the pain was a big fat intense 10. he gave no pain meds or guidance other than it will go away in a week or so. He grossly miss diagnosed this,,,it is in fact a new tumor that in two days had doubled in size. Put my hubby in so much unnecessary pain. shame on him for being so arrogant on making this call. |
