Spalding Regional Medical Center is a 160-bed acute care facility that has been providing quality medical care for the residents of Spalding, Lamar, Pike, Fayette, Henry, Butts and Upson counties for more than 100 years. In late 2006, the facility opened a new Women's Center with private patient suites and a hotel-like setting. Other hospital services and programs include orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, rehabilitation, wound healing and sleep medicine. Spalding Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has received national recognition for the quality care it provides. Quinn has more than 30 years of health care industry experience. Before joining Spalding Regional Medical Center, he served as chief operating officer at South Fulton Medical Center in East Point, Georgia, which is also a Tenet facility. Prior to joining Tenet, Quinn served for three years as the chief operating officer of Doctor's Hospital in Springfield, IL. His healthcare leadership experience also includes serving as vice president and then senior vice president at Ramsay Health Care, Inc., where he supervised several hospitals and healthcare facilities, and regional vice president at Community Psychiatric Centers, Inc., where he supervised five behavioral health hospitals. Quinn holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., as well as a bachelor's degree in nursing from Cornell University in New York City. Quinn also holds a master's degree in health care administration from Texas Women's University in Houston, Texas and a Ph.D in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. |
