Volunteer Information
What is the Magic of Volunteering? At El Camino Hospital, it may be the satisfaction of giving hours of your time as an Auxilian. Perhaps it means participating as a committee member for a Foundation project that raises funds to help underprivileged children receive vaccines. It could also mean working with the hospital's Chaplaincy to provide patients with spiritual support, grief counseling or acting as a liaison to local faith communities. It means working as a hospital board member to continue El Camino Hospital's position as a leader in health care. All of these opportunities and many more are available to you as a volunteer at El Camino Hospital. We have over 1,400 volunteers who give countless hours and energy to make our community hospital one of the best in the country. Won't you share some of your magic to help your community? Becoming an El Camino Hospital volunteer is easy! |
Foundation Information
The El Camino Hospital Foundation, in partnership with patients, physicians, employees, community leaders and philanthropists, raises money to help El Camino Hospital best meet the health needs of the community. These funds enable the hospital to offer state-of-the-art care to its patients while underwriting its efforts to provide health services to the economically disadvantaged. The philanthropic partnership enhances the hospital's ability to create a compelling work environment for physicians and staff and offers fulfilling opportunities to donors and volunteers. |
