Creighton University Medical Center is an academic medical institution, teaching tomorrow's health care professionals while striving for excellence in diagnosis and treatment today. We care for some of the region's sickest patients, smallest babies and most complex injuries and illnesses. Our trauma center is one of the oldest and busiest in the state, and we offer one of the region's only freestanding facilities dedicated to cardiac care. We were ranked No. 1 in Omaha for Overall Cardiac Services for four consecutive years from 2002 to 2005. Linda Ollis

She is a board-certified senior hospital administrator and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has worked in a variety of hospital leadership positions, with more than ten years of experience in academic medical centers. Ollis previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Creighton University Medical Center. She received her masters in public health and health administration and a bachelors of science in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She and her husband John live in Omaha. She previously served as chief operating officer of Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y.; and before that as regional chief operating officer at the three-hospital Christus Schumpert Health System in Shreveport, La. She was senior vice president of operations at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas for the five years previous to those positions. |
David Nosacka

In July 2008, Nosacka was named Chief Operating Officer. He has experience in healthcare executive roles that range from strategic planning and business development to compliance and finance. Nosacka earned a bachelors degree in general business from the University of New Orleans and a masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Tulane University Medical School. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Nosacka has held executive positions with Tulane University Hospital and Clinic as well as with a number of for-profit hospitals; most recently as the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for a 330-bed facility in Ohio. |
Wesley Grigsby, M.D.

Grigsby, M.D., was named the Vice President of Medical Affairs and the Chief Medical Quality Officer in January 2008. For almost two decades, Dr. Grigsby has provided medical expertise and leadership in emergency medicine at Creighton University Medical Center, serving as the Director of the Emergency Department at Creighton University Medical Center since 1989. During this time, he has continued to service as the Director of the Paramedic Service Program, President and CEO of Omaha Emergency Physicians and as an assistant clinical professor at CUMC. Dr. Grigsby is board certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Prior to his work at Creighton University Medical Center, Dr. Grigsby served as a Major in the United States Army Medical Corp. Dr. Grigsby received his bachelors degree form the University of Oklahoma, in Norman Oklahoma. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, in Oklahoma City. Following medical school, Dr. Grigsby's completed an internship in internal medicine at the Brooke Army Medical Center, in Fort Sam Houston. He continued his post-graduate training there as an emergency medicine resident. Dr. Grigsby is a founding member and Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. |
