Special Programs
OUTLook® For individuals seeking practical assistance with weight reduction, The Nutrition Center offers a structured weight management program—OUTLook®—which combines nutrition education, behavior modification and exercise instruction. Participants also benefit from OUTLook meal replacement beverages or bars which can strengthen their weight reduction efforts. The program is staffed by professionally trained registered dietitians, licensed behavioral counselors and exercise specialists. Participants are required to obtain a medical release from their physicians. |

Baptist Medical Center Mississippi Hospital for Restorative Care 1225 North State Street Jackson, MS 39202 601-968-1000 From the North: Take I-55 South to the Fortification Street exit (exit number 96C). Turn right onto Fortification Street. Take Fortification to State Street. Turn right onto State Street and go two blocks. The main entrance to the hospital will be on the left. After you enter the campus, the hospital is on the right, parking garage on the left. The main entrance provides direct access to the Medical Center's main lobby and the lobby of the Cardiovascular Center. The boulevard entrance for direct access to Baptist for Women is immediately south of the main entrance, adjacent to Medical Arts West. From the South: Take I-55 North to the Fortification Street exit (exit number 96C). Go west on Fortification to State Street. Turn right (north) onto State Street and go two blocks. Other Education and Training
Low Cost Screening Mammograms at the Breast Health Center Women who have either no insurance or high deductibles for wellness services now have an affordable option for mammograms, the most recognized method for detecting breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stage. Baptist's Breast Health Center now offers screening mammograms for a flat fee of $180, payable by cash only. The price includes the radiologist's fee. Insurance is not filed for this program. |
