| I was admitted for surgery friday morning. I have tiny rolling veins making it challenging for even the most skilled to take blood and especially hard to put in an IV. As usual I look like a pin cushion after multiple attempts to IV me for the surgery. What I want to acknowledge is the kindness from all the staff that worked patiently and tenderly in this painful situation for me. I have never felt so cared for by any other facility in my past as I have here at Grand Strand. Even after my surgery I have received around the clock care by truly caring individuals. All staff(especially RN Felecia) have done everything in there power to comfort me and assure that I received whatever I needed. From medicine to conversation to cheer me up. I highly recommend this hospital from ER visits to major surgery.(I have been here myself for both). The kindness of everyone in every department I encountered here has restored my faith that people still exist that believe in and practice true customer/patient care. Thank you to everyone here at Grand Strand for making my stay for surgery as pleasant and as painless as possible. May God bless you all for all you do. |
- "If you are over 50 and end up at RCH that might cost you your life! My elderly mother went in with 4 known conditions, glaucoma, dementia, arthritis, and a possible stroke. - 9-3-2021 An ambulance transported me to Christus Spohn hospital in Beeville due to breathing issues, severe headaches, fever and confusion. They completely misdiagnosed me even though I was having those symptoms and doctor Joshua J White DO falsified several details on the medical report.
