I went to Mountainside Hospital on 5-11-17 to have a same day procedure. When I first walked into the hospital I thought wow this has changed but when I reached the same day surgery unit that went out the door. It was disgusting and dirty. My procedure was 10am they did not take me till 12:30pm. I was hooked up to an IV and I had to use the rest room so I called for a nurse and they took me to the rest room but it was covered with human feces on the toilet the floor the iv tube was dragging thru it they did not even check to see if the room was clean so I stood in the hallway and yelled can somebody help me still no one came so I said for the amount of money you are charging me to have this procedure I could be on a cruise where someone is cleaning my ass for me at no charge and finally somebody came and said oh its dirty put me in the other restroom and that too was dirty. When they finally got me back to my bed they wanted me to get in with the dirty booties i had on my feet and i said absolutely not its a hazard to my health they really did not want to give me another pair so i kicked them off and had nothing on my feet. when I had to go again they asked me where the booties were and I said on the floor they are dirty so they gave me another pair and they did the same thing to me again. A woman who was in charge of housekeeping did come to speak with me. After listening to the nurses bitching about me saying they were dirty and no toilet paper was available you wanted to let me know they were short handed and the bathrooms were in fact a wreck. Sorry I wrote a letter to the State Health Dept for an investigation. Also there were two individuals walking around carrying blue prints with no escort i felt threatened that a terror incident was going to unfold right before my eyes. I did have people with me that said we are never coming back here find a new doctor or he can find a new hospital to go to. |
