Visiting Hours Information
General visiting hours are from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily. At 9 p.m. only members of the patient's immediate family are allowed to visit in the Critical Care Unit, Observation Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, and Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Ask the nurse on each unit for an information sheet about visitation. |
Parking
Parking for family members and visitors is provided in the large lot and parking deck across from the front entrance of the medical center on North Center Street. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved areas or in the semi-circular drive under the brick canopy at the front of the hospital. This area is used for admitting and discharge purposes only. Complimentary Valet Parking is also available for all patients and visitors. This free service, provided by the American Valet Parking, Inc., is available Monday through Friday (closed on weekends and holidays) at the following areas and times: Main Entrance, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Same Day Surgery, 5:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Outpatient Entrance, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. At 9 p.m. Only members of the patients immediate family are allowed to visit in the Critical Care Unit, Observation Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit , and Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Volunteer Information
Some of the most visible and valuable people at Frye Regional Medical Center are the volunteers. It's easy to become a voluneer – simply call the Volunteer Services Department at Frye Regional Medical Center at 828-324-3156 to make an appointment with the Administrative Director of Volunteer Services. New volunteers are required to attend an orientation to introduce you to the program and Frye Regional Medical Center. This program is designed to provide you with the necessary information you will need to safely and effectively volunteer as well as get the most out of your volunteer experience. |
