I went to two OBGYN's at this establishment and I experienced inappropriate touching and behavior from both of the doctors. My last exam with the first doctor was in 2014. When it came time for my next annual exam in 2015, I moved to another doctor at another hospital. This establishment had horrible customer service and I did not have the same set up as far as providing all of my needs in one setting like Presbyterian Hospital-Dallas. Because I wanted the same service that Presbyterian Hospital provided, I decided to come back and schedule an appointment with another doctor in September 2016. While going to the second doctor, the staff provided excellent customer service until the doctor started the exam. This is when the second doctor touched me in a very unprofessional way. The following incidents happened between 2014 through September 2016. Some might wonder why I stayed quiet so long. It’s because the first doctor was professional from 2001-2014. I had to make sure I was not imagining things before I make a statement or accuse someone of doing something wrong. Study show, some victims will appear to tolerate this behavior for a longer period of time because they are not sure of what’s happening. Most patients have a basic trust for these doctors. I feel Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, does not want me at their establishment since it seems like they are doing everything in their power to keep me away by being unprofessional. I know these two doctors does not represent all of the doctors at this hospital, but I cannot afford to go through this type of behavior just to get my annual exam that could possible save my life in the future. This is an inconvenience to me and a disgrace. I did not report this to the Texas Board because I noticed there will be protection for criminal’s offenders (doctors) at the huge cost of the victims (me). This protection for doctors, will leave the patients livelihood and character destroyed, leaving victims experiencing negative effects. I feel there is an injustice systematic system that proves it is a misogynistic and patriarchal fraternity that continues to terrorize victims and to betray the ethical good for the good doctors among them. Doctors must and should be held to a higher standard for criminal acts of sexual assault than a man on the street would. Men on the street will be held accountable and put on public record. This is one reason, I want to remain anonymous due to retaliation. I hope this review will help anyone who is afraid like I am and my story may give you the courage to come forward!!! I have lost hope and confidence of finding a trustworthy doctor at this establishment. |
