As I was getting settled in on the floor, I thought it odd that I was told by the case manager RN that I had great insurance! Who cares? While I understand that being told at 0700 that you will be released today doesn't mean you leave before noon, I thought it exceeding unbelievable that both my roommate and I were still there at 1800 hrs. Great insurance means staying past 1800 so they can bill another day! Of course the insurance information doesn't get accurately sent to any medical provider, so year + later, still dealing with those rude idiots at EMed LLC who can't put insurance information in correctly to save their life! The cardiologist doesn't accept direct pay from the insurance company (which means she can bill you for more than the insurance will pay). I can truthfully state that I will go anywhere but here if I have to go to the hospital again! It is not worth the hassle! |
