Visitors may park in Lot B on the ground level in front of the hospital. Please do not park in the lot outside the emergency room unless emergency services are required. All parking is free. |

Volunteer Information
Much of Good Shepherd Hospital's success comes from the generosity of the people served within the community. The hospital is grateful to its volunteers who collectively give of themselves thousands of volunteer hours year after year. Good Shepherd Hospital offers numerous opportunities for adults and teens to use their skills and develop new ones. Volunteers are needed in many areas throughout the hospital. Joining the hospital's Auxiliary and assisting with fundraising initiatives are also ways one can help. |
Directions/Features of Surrounding Area
Good Shepherd Hospital, part of Advocate Health Care's network is located on Highway 22, west of Route 59 and north of Barrington, a northwest suburb of Chicago. The Tri-State Tollway I-294 is east of the hospital. When approaching from the highway, exit on Half Day Road (Highway 22) and go west. From Route 53, exit west on Lake-Cook Road and turn north on Rand Road (Route 12). Proceed to Highway 22 and turn west to the hospital. From Rand Road proceed north to Highway 22 and then head west to the hospital. From Northwest Highway (Route 14), proceed to Route 59 and go north to Highway 22, then west on Highway 22 to the hospital. From Barrington, take Route 59 north to Highway 22 and go west. From the suburbs of Cary, Fox River Grove and Crystal Lake, proceed south on Route 14 to Highway 22, then east on Highway 22 to the hospital. |
