Neurophysiological examinations

Intended for revealing the degree of lesions of the central nervous system. In the survey include:

• Checking the motor coordination;
• Hearing Test;
• Checking of the field of view;
• Verification of the smell;
• Checking touch;
• Checking of taste.

Methods

•  Electroencephalography;
• Electro-neurography;
•  Functional MRI (NMR) methods.

Indications for neurophysiological studies:

• Epilepsy and other convulsive disorders;
• Fainting (syncope) condition and other condition with loss of consciousness;
• Vegetovascular dystonia (VVD) and cerebral vascular dystonia.
• Suspicions on volumetric (tumoral) formation in the brain, a condition after the removal of a brain tumor;
• Hypothalamic syndrome and diseases with metabolic disorders (obesity, diabetes);
• Brain injury in the acute period;
• The consequences of head injuries and brain injuries, including distant;
• The consequences of cerebral circulatory disorders, including strokes in the brain;
• Arteriosclerosis cerebrovascular;
• Consequences neuroinfection (meningitis and tick encephalitis);
• Degenerative diseases of the nervous system (multiple sclerosis);
• Injuries to the peripheral nervous system damage of the nerve trunks;
• Occupational diseases (vibration disease);
• Diabetic neuropathy;
• Decrease of the attentiveness in children and difficulties in schooling.
