Dr. Walter G Husar, MD

Husar does not care about his patients, at least from my experience. He had plenty of time to tell me about his persona...l life, why he hates the governor, about his dogs, his favorite places in California, etc. He did not have time to ask me where my pain was, nor how intense, nor the duration. He did not ask if I was taking other medications. Only when I asked him did he say there was a new medication to try. He then prescribed a dose of 600mg instead of 1800mg which is the norm for this med. He wrote it for 6 months so if I had not caught HIS error, I would have been taking the wrong dosage for 6 months wondering why it wasn't working. He never apologized and when I called the office about the error the receptionist tried to blame it on me! Saying that I did not actually talk to him about my new medication. True, but only because he did not take the time to return my call when I had asked to speak to him about my new meds, only gave a refill script. I will never go back!!! more details
