She was the worst therapist I've ever been to. I mentioned to Tonya that I felt over taught because she and I never rea...lly just talked about my feelings and identified and analyzed issues. Whenever I would bring up a problem, she’d just refer me to a DBT skill or some reading. I frequently mentioned my instability, panic, anxiety, fear, and depression. Tonya’s answer was that I needed group therapy. I told her that I’m really not comfortable getting into my personal stuff and that I really need someone to talk to about individual issues pertaining to me. Anyways, group therapy didn’t seem to be helping and I continued to get even worse. I eventually switched therapists at Kaiser. more details
