I would not recommend this doctor. I used to see him over 20+ years ago. I was young, and had I had the knowledge and co...urage I have now; I would have walked out of his office. I have a Fibromyalgia, a curved spine, degenerative disc disease, a herniated disc, and sciatica. I found all of this out after I left the care of this doctor. Immediately after leaving his care. When I would see Dr. Carran, I’d complain of pain. He was dismissive, and acted like my claims were unbelievable. He said he didn’t believe I had a problem, but said he’d do some labs to see if I had any arthritis markers. Of course, the labs came back with markers all over the place, as I was not lying about my pain. He started giving me injections in my back; which I found out later, he was not authorized to give. Because of his ‘skill’ level with the injections, he caused me more pain. I probably should have sued him, but I didn’t. After that, I decided not to return to his office. He always made me feel like he didn’t really want to be there, or at the very least, could care less whether or not I was there. I suffered more pain because of this man, and I don’t wish this on anyone. I wish I had written this review years ago, but I’ve tried to move on from this experience. For the sake of any future patients, I pray that he is not the same doctor that he was years ago. Had he truly listened to what I was saying, the quality of my life would have been so much better. I regret that I was brought up to trust doctors, and believe that they have our best interests at heart. I regret keeping him as my doctor. But most of all I regret that I didn’t just walk away from him the first time he half-accused me of not being truthful about my pain. When you live in daily pain, you need a doctor who listens to your concerns, and acts accordingly. Choose your doctors wisely. It’s your time, money, and ultimately, your quality of life. more details
