After 3 years of dealing with back and leg pain, Cortisone shots, therapy, etc., I was more than nervous to talk/think a...bout back surgery. I had heard nothing but horror stories from family, friends and co-workers about people they knew that had back surgery. Dr. Wascher talked about what would happen during surgery, what the recovery would be and the percentage of surgery he has performed that had excellent outcomes. I had surgery on May 20, 2013. When I woke from surgery I had zero pain in my hip and leg. It was gone. I had slight pain in my lower back from the incision, which was heaven compared to what it felt like before surgery. 4 days after surgery I was walking 3 miles. I could barely walk down to the mailbox and back before surgery. Dr. Wascher was awesome thru the whole thing. I am more than 100% satisfied with his work and will tell everyone with any back problems to see him first.more details
