The doctor sent a bill for the lab tests I had done. His bill was increased by over 300% of what the lab charged. He sim...ply marked up the actual cost of the lab test allowing him and income stream and making everything clearer why he added more lab tests, more frequently on my visits. In the end he would not renew my medications because he wanted to see me often for more lab work and office visits. No phone call or email, simply come in at a substantial cost or no renewal of medication. This was apparent that it was not just about control, but also about increasing his income. Doctor will not renew your RX unless you visit more frequent than what is UCR/usual customary and reasonable. The office... visit to renew your RX will exceed your insurance companies limits and could cost you several hundred dollars. His motivation it feels is how can I extract as much income as possible by holding the RX back for a pricy office visit. Take your changes, I do not recommend him. more details
