Dr. T Erik Borresen, MD

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Borresen. I have a rare disease which went undiagnosed for 17 years. I research...ed for answers and presented my doctors with the findings. Not a single one has ever heard of my disease and every one of them scoffed at me for digging around the Internet and "self diagnosing" myself. But this doctor listens attentively, and confirmed the diagnosis. He is the only doctor who educated himself on the disease outside of our visit. He is extremely patient and kind, does not ever make me feel rushed, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a neurologist. more details

I have several complicated medical issues which have led me on a long search for answers. Dr. Borresen is my favorite do...ctor currently, and in the top 3 of all drs. I've ever seen. He's a rare gem because he actually listens. I have had doctors tell me I was wasting their time, been laughed at and called a liar, so it was such a relief that Dr. Borresen displayed so much compassion and helped me to pin down a correct diagnosis. I truly feel that he cares about me and my quality of life, and he takes an interest in what I have to say about my condition. I never feel like he's rushing me out the door on the occasional visit where I have more to discuss, and his patience is remarkable when my cognitive function is giving me problems and I can't find the right words. He's a true healthcare partner. The front office staff are not very friendly, but the back office staff are much nicer--I have been going to this office for five years and this has been very consistent. They recently moved to a new building which is very nice, bright, and clean. I would recommend Dr. Borresen to my closest friends and family. more details
