Dr. Shapiro was very unprofessional and gave me more anxiety than I started with. Her “office” is a messy room in ...her own garage. The few sessions I had with her were disrupted by her cats. Within the first 15 minutes of meeting me, she told me I should go on antidepressants and asked me if I had ovarian cysts because I was on the pill, which freaked me out. She is also a dietician. When I mistakenly called her a nutritionist (I honestly didn't know the difference), she replied with, "I am a dietician. Anyone can be a nutritionist. Your cat could be a nutritionist", which embarrassed me. I also had instances with Dr. Shapiro when she was outright rude and disrespectful. All in all, Dr. Shapiro made my anxiety much worse and I would not recommend her. more details
