Imagine that you're trying to find a new doctor. Your friend recommends someone that doesn't deal with all the covid fea...r crap. So you make an appointment. Before your first appointment, you confirm that they take your insurance. When you get to your first appointment, as you're signing in you hear something about insurance changing, but you shake it off as something unrelated. You then meet the doctor, and get all your paperwork transferred to his location. You then get a bill, and a letter indicating they are no longer taking your insurance and going to a 'pay them only' method. You call them asking them when did they knew about this change to verify if this was before you made the appointment as this seems fishy.... They say they will call you back, and they never do.
You then have to go back to your old doctor and get everything restarted with them. Finally, you lose your job and have to door-dash to make ends meet. One of the orders is a 12-mile-away delivery to this doctor's multi-million dollar farm/mansion where you only get a $5 tip for your 12-mile trip. Because you are an outstanding person you deliver the dozen Dunkin doughnuts but shake your head as you drive out of the mansion/estate as you realize what kind of person that doctor really is. more details
