I had a LB done on 12-08. It was a disaster. I was not in the least bit impressed with the hospital and the follow up ...care. I had gone there repeatedly for 2 years, expressing the problems I was experiencing. Dr. Sundberg suggested another form of bariatric surgery and then was denied by the weight loss team. I've since gone to a Clinic in Des Moines. What a totally different experience. Come to find out I have ulcers on my esphogas (sp) which is an early sign of cancer.
I am greatly worried if I had not gone to Des Moines the grave outcome. All & all I am more than happy to get out from under the so called care at Grinnell and get excellent care in Des Moine. more details
