Benirschke refused to order an MRI for me after months of ankle pain and numerous PT treatments that did not decrease th...e pain. He was rude and condescending when I inquired on two different occasions about getting an MRI and still did not order one. When I finally got a second opinion, the new doctor ordered an MRI right away and the results showed a torn tendon with surgery as the likely best treatment. My new doctor told me that if I had diagnosed the tear earlier, non-surgical treatment may have healed the tear.
I would not recommend Benirschke to anyone. My experience was extremely frustrating!more details
