I had the privilege of being one of Dr. Potocki’s patients and I want to state that he is a very gifted doctor and sur...geon with an exceptionally good bed side manner. I had a continuous nose bleed about four or five years ago that would not stop - I went to the emergency room of one of the hospitals and to my amazement they refused to cauterize the blood vessels in my nose. Instead they used some medieval balloon looking apparatus that placed pressure in and around my nasal blood vessels. The doctors in the emergency room assured me that cauterizing was in the past and no one performed that archaic treatment anymore. After wearing this painful device for three days, I returned to the same emergency room and after enduring the excruciating pain to remove this device from my head - it still didn’t work. Within 24 hours I had another nose bleed. My precious mother-in-law recommended that I use her ENT. I did, he cauterized my nose, and it has NOT bled since! Now I go to him for anything related to ear, nose, or throat. And I have recommended my family and friends as well. more details
