Dr. Sharon R Goldberg, MD

This doctor's bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. During my pregnancy, I walked from the exam room into the hall ...to take a breather, only to realize that I had been left in the room, by the doctor, while she bad-mouthed me to someone on the phone. How crazy! Dr. Goldberg was almost never available outside of appointment times. She was nowhere in site, ever, when I was pushed into labor. She could have at least showed her face during the many hours and days that I was at the hospital. Her office was two buildings down. Some unknown doctor with even less of a bedside manner delivered my baby. Actually, the nurses delivered my baby, and the doctor came in at the end. Some of the staff could use more training on how to be nice, to put it simply, to pregnant women and all patients, for that matter. Needless to say, for all my future ob/gyn needs and the birth of my next child, I sought services elsewhere. I did not feel like I had a doctor during my pregnancy. I just had someone who was going through the motions. I would tell other women that there are many doctors who make you feel like you have an ob/gyn team supporting you and your baby during your pregnancy. If you randomly picked one out of the phone book, you could probably do better than Sharon R. Goldberg. more details
