Ms. Sacks is obviously an experienced clinician. Her approach though may not work for all clients. She takes a very co...nfrontational approach in counseling that does not work for many- and did not work for my family. She was unable to recognize that her approach was not only ineffective but was providing another excuse to avoid treatment. My child read the confrontational tone as anger towards him and did not feel he was able to open up anymore for fear of attack or retribution. This is our personal experience. And this approach was consistent from the first day to the last and not only for my child but also with me with no provocation whatsoever. more details
