My informed consent was not informed. Would have never agreed to memory erasing drugs as I feel their use are unethical.... Never have received information about my condition as I was only told when drugged out of my mind. Was rude and dismissive to my family and they were kept on the outside of my care by this doctor and Franciscan Health. If having a heart attack was not bad enough, the way I was treated and my family was treated has been very stressful. Chunks of time from my time at Franciscan Health is unaccounted for along with misrepresentations in my medical records. Also, HIPPA was violated multiple times as well as patient dignity. One nurse in Cardiac CCU couldn't stop laughing at me or ? and the nurse in charge of my critical care the right after PCI didn't get my IABP hooked up. They left my family sitting for over 2 hours without any explanation. I wonder if she even was trained properly. Just a nightmare of an experience and we are all still suffering PTSD from this. more details
