He thinks that there is only one possible explanation for any personal problem: trauma in the distant past. He doesn't u...nderstand that people can struggle or be different because of who they are innately. In fact, he would even attribute a condition like autism to personal abuse. His method and attempts at insight are close-minded, one-dimensional, anachronistic, and ineffective. And if you give him too much trust, he will lead you to the wrong life story. Also, he has trouble understanding even the simplest of ideas. When you talk to him, he doesn't understand sentences with more than 6 or 7 words. For a long time, I thought his apparent slowness and confusion were signs that he was being careful and thorough, making sure he understood every detail. But I was giving him way too much credit. He's one of the dumbest people I've ever met. more details
