This man, while appearing outwardly knowledgeble, turned out to be a manipulative and borderline sadistic person, at lea...st towards me. He never listened to me (or at least I never felt listened to), loved to exercise control over me, and frequently told me how much of an awful and horrid person I am. At one point, he ended up openly taking pride in his own "humility". Of course, when I pointed this out, I was being "rude" and "disrespectful", as if he had earned my respect. He goes on and on about respect, but the behaviors he demanded of me were those that are born of fear, not respect. He, without a doubt, did a lot of damage that I now have to pick up the pieces from. more details
