I was referred to this office by my pcp. I have severe pain and after a MRI was told that surgery was needed to correct ...it. Well, per this offices receptionist the doctor is unable to see me. Most likely due to my insurance even though they claim to accept it. Seems as if Doctors have gone from helping all to helping only those with great insurance. Has gone from health to what pays the most. Pretty sad.more details

Sometimes when a provider says they will see you for free isn't necessarily good. I was referred to him by Peak Vista la...st year after my MRI indicated I had two herniated discs. The normal spinal canal is supposed to be 14-17 mm-mine was 6.6mm at c4-5 and 5mm at c5-6. Yet when I saw this person he states my MRI is "normal for a woman my age(50) and that because my pain was on both sides of my upper extremities that my pain was not being cause by my spine". He then gave me an injection of some muscle relaxer into my neck and then manipulated it. Made the pain worse. I later find out that's the worst thing you can do to someone with a herniated cervical disc and spinal stenosis.
I never returned and have since found out that because I had a central cord compression at c5-6 plus bilateral foraminal narrowing my problems were from my neck. I have since had surgery. My Neurosurgeon told me I had a significant spinal cord compression that needed to be addressed-he was looking at the same MRI that Mr. Brumlik saw and made his "diagnosis" from. In fact I had two other medical providers tell me the same thing as my NS. He NEVER stated in his report to my provider at Peak Vista that he had manipulated my neck which I believe is a violation of the law. I have filed a complaint with Peak Vista and I hope they are not referring patients to him any more.more details
