Dr. Inocencio was the on- call doctor when I had the bad luck on getting in touch with her. My baby was very fussy and c...rying a lot and it seemed like she was having teething pain but I was not sure. So I wanted to check with a doctor whether or not to give her teething pain reliever. To my surprise, Dr. Inocencio had no clue that there are teething medications in market. She said "what is teething tablet? Is it some kind of medication? What is Oragel? Do you rub gel on baby's gums to relieve pain?" Seriously, a doctor doesn't know about well known teething pain relievers. My baby was taking a lot of feeds and I am an attachment parent and I feed my baby on demand. Dr. Inocencio seems to follow CIO. She was so rude and started lecturing me on not to feed my baby on demand or else she will be obese. She even told me to feed her every 4 h and if she cries just hold her and let her cry! When I said I am not worried about her feeds, I am worried if she has teething pain. She still didn't address the teething issue and kept lecturing me on feeding my baby every 4 h in a rude tone of voice. When I said I am not satisfied with her answers, she told me "Oh you are not satisfied, take your baby to emergency and you will be satisfied. No baby starts teething when they are 3.5 months old." I was disturbed and next working day I talked to my baby's pediatrician. He told me that she seems to be going through a growth spurt and to continue feeding her on demand. Also he said he has seen babies have teeth even at 4 months of age so teething is possible! If you happen to be an attachment parent avoid Dr. Inocencio. more details
