Whatever you do, GO TO A DIFFERENT SURGEON other than Dr. Nick Hatzis!! All I can say is that he performed a complete sh...oulder replacement yesterday on my mother, a retired nurse, and now she's already been sent home and with NO pain medicine!! We've tried calling the practice too many times to count & have only spoken with his PA (why is a PA on call for this MD surgeon) but even his PA can't get a hold of him!! He even admitted he's tried calling/paging the doctor 3 times & has NOT heard back from him! Isn't the purpose of a doctor to take care of the entire problem you see him for, from office visits to surgery to post-op care? At this point, I wouldn't send my dog to this guy!!! more details
