Dr. Nancy A Chase, MD

After Dr. Chase spent 30-45 minutes discussing something that wasn't in her area of expertise, she rudely rushed me to l...eave, after I'd taken a phone call. She asked, during my conversation, if I could talk on my phone later. She stated that the front counter had a certain amount of time to enter some information. She, then, rudely instructed 2 nurses to come help me, when I needed no help in getting my son dressed. I informed the nurses that I need did not need their assistance, and asked them how did they work for someone as rude as her. I, then, told them that I would NEVER come there again. Dr. Chase walked in.

I didn't get chance to put my son's jacket on in 50 degree weather as I was highly disappointed. After approaching the front counter, I asked if there was anything needed of me. I initial a form. Dr. Chase then went to talk about a referral. I kindly told her that I didn't need her referral, I'd take care of my son on my own. The referral wasn't even in an area of her expertise ... 1 that she wasted so much time talking about. She, then, tried to explain something that didn't concern me. I informed her that there was no need to try to explain after she'd been rude and disrepectful to me as a parent.

Leaving after I'd gotten into my car approximately 5 minutes later, I received a call that I'd left my insurance card. I, then, turn around to retrieve it. Apparently, the incident was being discussed amongst the office because no one heard me enter. I alerted the nurse I'd seen. She came to give my card, and I asked if she could cancel the appointment that had been made 1 year from 4/2/13 because I'd NEVER come back to that office. She apologized saying I understand.

I will inform my pediatrician to never refer me to Dr. Chase again. more details
