If I had listened to Dr Rosenbaum’s assistant (not a Dr), I would likely be dead now. I called Dr Rosenbaum's office i...n extreme distress. My pulse was racing between 168 and 189 bpm and I felt like I was dying. As usual, Dr Rosenbaum didn’t have time for me so he had his assistant call me. I reported my symptoms and faxed her an ECG I had taken using my personal ECG mobile device. Her response was to call in a couple of days worth of water pills. The Dr refused to see me, so I called my primary Dr. He examined me and urged me to go to the ER where he would have me admitted. He told me “If we don’t get that heart rate down quickly, something very bad will happen.”. This all followed a failed cardioversion the previous week with me calling the office several times, including a weekend call which the on-call Doctor, Dr Kloostermam, just decided not to return, even after a second call. With 4 doctors, it seemed they just didn’t care if I lived or died. more details
