I first went to Dr. Albalas for acupuncture when I was visiting the area for work and became ill with amoebas from food ...poisoning. I had been receiving acupuncture as a preferred form of medicine for nearly 20 years and wanted to try this route before resorting to Western antibiotics. I asked friends if they knew anyone who was not just ok, but a miracle worker, as I had no time or energy to mess around with the wrong match. I was referred to Dr. Albalas. Within 24 hours of being treated by him for the first time and being prescribed some gentle supplements, I was significantly better. This was after weeks of suffering (barely able to drive myself to the hospital suffering). I saw him intensively during that rough spell (once or twice a week), and he saw me back to health.
