My first visit to Dr. Shinder was great. He diagnosed my foot problem and provided me with treatment that worked. The f...ollowing 2 visits were outrageous. After a few months, the problem returned. I wanted advice on how to cope or improve the pain (not meds). What I received were odd comments. I described numbness and Dr. Shinder said so if I cut your toe with a knife you wouldn't feel it. What????? His comments were dismissive and insulting. I obtained recommended testing and I had a neuroma. He gave no recommendations and his attitude was that he couldn't be bothered. I coped with the pain for a year and decided to try a different podiatrist in another practice. So glad I did. I received recommendations and spoke with a concerned podiatrist. Get help elsewhere. more details
