My mother went to Povich for well over eight months complaining of shortness of breath, exhaustion and other symptoms, s...he was given the "come back in two weeks and we will see how you are doing" month after month, she lost more than 10% of her body weight without trying. They took x-rays and told her she had a little pneumonia. They could not have been more wrong, she had a lung tumor over the third the size of her lung, her cancer had been growing so long it has spread to her brain. Had this doctor paid more attention and stopped to listen to my mom when she was begging him to figure out what was wrong with her for so many months, her cancer would have been found before it reached stage 4. The professionals we bring her to now have no idea how a doctor could have missed the obvious signs, and misread the multiple X-rays. Stay away from the band aid station that fancies itself a hospital, OSF and Povich really missed the mark on this one and it will cost someone their life. more details
