Dr. Marc Maskowitz, MD

This so called "Dr." (he got his degree in another country) is nothing more than a money grubbing narcissist who I have ...YET, in the numerous appointments I have been to, seen step foot from behind his desk. He has never once actually examined me and on average I spend approximately 1 min and 15 seconds in his office (I have video posted to youtube to prove it). This is just long enough for him to dictate into his computer via a headset, while never once looking at me, what my vital signs are (taken by one of his rude "assistants") and then telling me "ok, we'll see you next month". Which allows me the privilege of having him "approve" my medication for another month (the max he will write a prescription for is 30 days with zero refills so he can continue to collect my $100+ office visit fee every month. I have tried on numerous occasions to speak with him about reducing the fee or extending my prescriptions and he simply says "I need to see you to make certain you're taking your meds correctly" which of course HE NEVER DOES. I've been on my meds for several years and now exactly what I;m doing and all I need is my meds to keep my life "normal". But because this jacka$$ knows that he can monetize my pain and require me to come in every month to spend less than 2 minutes with him just so he can collect an office fee is a joke. He cares not one bit about my condition nor does he care about his so called Hippocratic Oath as what comes first for him is money. He actually makes it harder for me to get my medicine than it was for me to get illegal drugs on the street. This guy is the epitome of someone who got into the business of being a Dr. just so he could take advantage of people in need. I am giving him one star everywhere because it won't let me give him zero. Plain and simply, if you are in pain and need compassion (like if you have no insurance) STAY AWAY from this thief. I will be reporting him to the CA Medical Association very soon as I am finally looking at some other options for my meds.
