Dr. Manjakkollai P Veerabagu, MD

Dr M P Veerabagu really only performs two procedures- upper endoscopy and colonoscopies. He was my doctor for approximat...ely eight years. I was initially misdiagnosed...I was subsequently determined to have Crohn's Disease. This was discovered by another gastroenterologist and not by Dr Veerabagu. I was placed on Humira and have been on it for several years now. When I began having GI problems over two months ago, Dr. Veera sent me for several tests which all came back normal. He then placed me on laxatives even though my symptoms indicated a more serious problem. As of two days ago he indicated that he didn't know what else to do. In other words, he just quit trying to help me. He sent me back to my general practitioner even though I clearly have an intestinal disorder. I could not recommend this doctor for any form of treatment, especially GI problems. He lets his physician's assistant handle the majority of his cases, while he performs endoscopies and colonoscopies. I only saw him once a year at most. He is very unqualified in the areas of crohn's, colon cancer, and just about any other GI disorder. How he manages to heal anyone is beyond my comprehension.
