Dr. Nathan made a transphobic comment on the first day I met her by claiming that cases where she handled transgendered ...clients were the worst. On the second day, she cancelled. We had to re-book and she diagnosed me with Asperger's Syndrome and took longer than she'd expected to write a report. I met with a number of other mental health professionals and none of them thought it was a remotely accurate diagnosis. She claimed I hadn't confirmed an appointment when I had. She also made me sit in her waiting room for a while because she didn't hear the door behind me and realize I'd shown up. She also told me one of her other patients was much prettier than me and that I was doomed to get married later in life - as if that's a punishment. She also admitted to scheduling more appointments than I needed and setting up monthly unproductive social skills appointments even though she knew they weren't helping me. more details
