Lisa Irgang, PSYD

I was a patient for Dr Lisa Irgang for about a year. I was in a severe depression and desperate for help. Dr Irgang did ...not help me. She let me talk and cry only to interrupt me at the end of our sessions to talk about payment. She even had me going twice a week because of my severe depression. She even told me that she was a financial advisor and offered to help me for an additional fee. When I switched jobs and my insurance changed she actually locked the doors and would not let me in for my appointment.
If you are considering therapy please stay away from this woman. She only cares about money and not about helping you. I wish I was not so blinded by my depression and not so desperate for help. Maybe I would have seen her for what she really was. My insurance only covered so much and after I stopped seeing her I was forced to file bankruptcy. It took my a while but I'm finally better. There are good therapists out there so please do your research before choosing one. more details
