Could diagnose a hemorrhoid if it was staring him in the face, imho
I disregarded the other negative reviews to my own peril. After seeing him, now must say that they are very spot on in s...ummary. I found him to be a little too invasive, even for a shrink. His questions seemed more like what one would expect from a pick up artist in a slezzy bar. One session, kept persisting about masturbation habbiits - yea, a little odd. more details
I heard he is not allowed to prscribe some meds because of action taken aginst him by the state medical board. I saw him... several times and felt he was very pompus. He will laugh like he has some authority over you. Even his officee assistant asked me why it was that I kept coming back ot see him so often. You could tell she thought it odd and perhaps unprofessional. The office reps will oftne tal beind his back when you go out to pay the bill. You know that if the people that work for him do notr say good things then that is can be a bad sign for patients. more details
I would drive another 1 1/2 to get to Charlotte before I would see this guy again. The other two reviewers are spot on. ...Stay away. more details
Used to be a big fish in a little pond, but now that other pychiatrists have come along. He will charge $170 an hour and... does not take insurance. He will want to see you often and keep changing medicine so that you have to come back. He does not seem to know what he is doing and is a poor communicator. He made several racist comments to me in several sessions and seems to do so with pride and arrogance. Go see someone who is actually worthwhile and does not charge an arm and a leg and has a better sence of ethics. more details
