This Doctor is the most arrog...ant abrasive nasty doctor I have ever had the displeasure to run into. He destroyed my mother’s life with his incompetence. He weakened her blood thinner and she had a hart attack. Blood clots were swept into her legs from the attack and on one leg they had to be picked out by a vascular surgeon. She had to be under local anesthesia because she was too weak for general anesthesia. The operation took grueling 4.5 hours. The second leg could not be operated on for fear she would not survive the operation. She will NEVER walk again because of this and is in excoriating pain in both legs from fluid build up. Her speech is slurred so much that 75 % of what she tries to say can’t be understood. She has to be hand fed because for some reason she has very limited use of her arms. If we are lucky she will live out her LIMITED days in a nursing home at $ 7,000.00 a month ! Dr Simkins had the audacity to suggest we put her in Hospice. I asked him if he would like to go into the hospital room and ask her if she wants to be in Hospice. He was silent at that assertion. He uses his patients as guinea pigs for drug trials developing new drugs and after the drug gets approved the patients can’t afford the medication. My sister in law once accompanied my mother to an office visit to this doctor and when my sister in law tried to look something up that he was preaching about he started yelling at her with the message “ you dare to look up something I am preaching about ? “ Then he ordered my sister in law out to the waiting room. My sister in law refused and he tried to physically remove her by force ! My sister in law stood her ground with the assertion “ DON’T TOUCH ME ! He is the worst example of a medical professional I have EVER seen ! I hope he gets stomach cancer !
