I saw Dr Barthouse to have fillers and he claimed he was very good at it but afterwards I quickly learned the opposite. ...I was concerned immediately after he did the injections with the angle of the track marks caused by his injections and the fact that it was lumpy and in the wrong places but he told me that sometimes it can take longer for the fillers to settle into place and to just keep massaging them. Weeks later I called and made an appointment and while I was there he became very defensive and try to excuse what he did to me away with several diversions as to the simple truth of his not doing it right. He claimed that I still needed to continue the massaging which I have done every day since he injected me (it has now been almost 6 months), he also claimed that the injections “must had traveled”. He also pointed to a line drawing of a face with a couple circles on it (that his nurse added) showing the supposed area of injection. I note here that it loosely showed placement and general location, not a photo of my face showing his actual injections and the illustration does not show direction of the injection or how deep or lack of depth he placed them. I saw from the beginning that the track marks did not following the bone structure for a pleasing look and it cause what I had described as a “Nike” swoosh under my eye but yet he was defensive and blamed it on everything except his lack of skill.
The only options he offered was to add more fillers to equalize them which means more money. (Did he do this poorly only to get one to pay more to fix it??) I will add at this time that during pre-injection, he wanted to add fillers in my jawline. I told him that I did not want any fillers there but after he numbed me and started injecting he did so anyway. I ask, is this another way for him to use more product to “milk the consumer”? Second option was to use a substance injected into the areas to dissolve the fillers. (Like I am going to trust this man to put a needle near my eyes again plus I gave him a lot of money and this was like throwing it out the window because he wouldn’t give my money back for that. I might as well had just walk into his office, give him money and walk away.
Dr Barnthouse does not have the aesthetic eye to work on someone’s face. I even asked him if he understood the term “aesthetic” and he hesitated and didn’t respond as if he didn’t understand. After seeing my eyes and the lack of balance and how horrible they look, I must admit that he does not know about pleasing aesthetics especially when it concerns the face.
Please be aware of who your doctor is and what their capabilities are and don’t trust their charming demeanor that hides a true arrogance as this man has. Ask your friends, check them out. more details
