Dr. Raftery is a good man, an excellent and ethical physician. He is devoted to his patients. I felt comfortable talking... with him from the very first appointment and though my condition was difficult to diagnose, he worked with me successfully for about a year. Dr. continues to attend conferences about psychiatric conditions in order to keep up to date with knowledge of the latest treatments and medications. Honestly, however, the doctor might want to begin considering retirement or at least reducing his patient workload.
Also, although doctor takes Blue Cross/Blue Shield, patients should check first with their BC/BS to make sure that it doesn't instead farm out coverage for mental health services to another company who provides less coverage. more details
