I had a CT scan for Lower Right Quadrant pain in my groin area but the scan showed a 1" fibroid. He told me the fibroid... was causing my pain and a total hysterectomy was the only treatment option. Doesn't make anatomical sense, at all, but I didn't know any better. Had the surgery, completely unnecessary, and when I was referred back to him by his partner for excessive pain, Cantuaria was ruthless. I told him I was in no pay status from missing so much work and he replied, "You have pay, you have no pay, you have psycosocial issues." I was in shock.
The questions are- he just incredibly bad at diagnostics, does he always recommend hysterectomy for what turned out to be a .3cm asymptomatic fibroid OR does he use small fibroids to manipulate unsuspecting patients into agreeing to unnecessary surgeries? How else can you see it?
I had a R inguinal hernia and had another surgery a few months later.
I'm still dealing with the emotional trauma of the experience with Canturaria. Unreal. I pray for his soul. more details

Didn't treat complaint. When I read what he wrote in my medical records, I coulnd't believe my eyes.
So much w...as just not correct, I was shocked.
Completely untrustworthy. Really kind of scarey. more details
